Hi Tanya,

I shared your question with Peter Simonson, an owner of Juvent. His reply was that the exact opposite is true. There have been no documented cases of detached retinas on the Juvent. Based on my experience with the Juvent, I would agree with his assessment, because its vibration is dialed in to the range which stimulates the bones without injuring the organs. It literally vibrates the width of two pieces of paper, and is so gentle that if I speak while on it, you can't hear the vibration in my voice. It is safe, and the other vibrating machines on the market are not. The competitors like PowerPlate are harmful, forceful vibrating machines.

I must update my progress on the Juvent: from 6/10, my right knee is about 1-2/10, the left about 2-3/10. I am trying to push up to 10 minutes each session.

I have many things to say that address the meat of the content, but just popped on momentarily to say you—your RC, Quaker, Gentle Demeanored—>>>Affect, completely remind me of Mr. Rogers. My husband lived in PIT for awhile & met Fred Rogers, and he was just as nice in person. Keep writing to us, Scott. We appreciate you!!! Kira in Eugene😘

Scott, thanks for sharing this important info! I was always wondering about your self-care as a vaccine injured fellow traveller so this post has answered my questions. One thing I wanted to mention. I read somewhere that Juvent technology can lead to retinal detachment. Would you be willing to explore this more? Sorry, I don't remember the source. Many of us have floaters in the eyes as a result of Vax injury, which is PVD (posterior vitriol detachment) , i.e. detachment of white matter in the eye. So in these circumstances, should we approach Juvent with caution?

Would sitting in a hot tub work as well?

Good question. Liquids convey heat 20 times more efficiently than air. This could increase your internal temperature faster than a sauna, but it also could increase what is called insensible fluid loss leading to both dehydration and vasodilation at the same time. That’s a bad combination which can lead to cardiac dysrhythmias, especially in people with undiagnosed underlying cardiac conditions. A cherished member of our Ithaca community was found dead in a hot tub at a place where she was housesitting. of course she was in her 70s and the medical examiner didn’t bother to do an autopsy.
