Hi Scott: Thanks for the article, love the photos, and the commentary. I have the same reaction to Dr. Gundry. A little goes a long way. I'd much rather see a conversation between you and Peter or better yet, you, Pierre and Peter!
I invested in a Juvent for my husband and myself. I have osteopenia from a benign parathyroid tumor that caused me to dump calcium like mad. I have been through a double mastectomy, multiple sugeries for reconstruction and a right hip replacment for bad arthritis. All of that (beginning in Feb, 2022) made exercise pretty difficult. I am using my the Juvent 10+ min a day. I'm encouraging my husband to use it. He has bad arthritis in his ankles and says its pretty uncomfortable for him but I encourage him to do just a few minutes a day.
Thank you for sharing your experience with the Juvent Hilary. What I’d like to see is Juvent machines in places like community centers where multiple people could use the same machine. Hospitals should have them to help prevent patient falls.
I'm actually squatting with my feet flat on the Juvent and placing my fingertips (occasionally my palms) on the platform. This may not be an easy position for some folks; I have explored various bodily contortions to determine what works best for me.
I started wearing "barefoot shoes" about a year or so ago. These are somewhere between a thick sock and lightweight shoe.. I wear them inside all the time and outside often. I still wear a light shoe for outside errands. I think they have helped strengthen my feet and ankles. quite a bit. I also have a rebounder that I use a couple of times a day. Overall, I feel my body is in pretty good shape for being almost 80 years old. The Juvent sounds like a wonderful item to have access to! Maybe I can find a way to invest in the $6000. item! Do you think it is worth it for the health benefits you have received? Thank you for your interesting columns!
There are a lot of other brands out now. The only thing I would change is the very long adjustment laces that you have to wrap around something and attach the velcro end somewhere on the shoe. I think that the Xero brand is also very good. Probably others as well.
Can't thank you enough for your dedication to helping people on so many levels. I've been using DMSO for knee injuries which helped and recently starting using a grounding mat which seems to have helped even more but I will be investing in a Juvent for our long term health and mobility. I was not aware of the stem cell correlation which brings everything to a whole new level of possibilities. Many thanks!
side comment, re your 'pressure headaches'... if of any value I've found the TheraICE Migraine Relief Cap helpful for migraines (from Amazon, and there are other brands of course) as well as lately using a cotton ball wetted with DMSO wiped where the ache is most prevalent.
I used to have a vibration plate I stood on. It had handles to hold on to and some straps as well. You could adjust the amount of vibration and set a time as well. It jiggled the entire body quite well.

I agree! Our Juvent was a pretty big investment and it sits un-utilized most of the time except for the few minutes a day hubby and I use it!
Scott, I hope you continue to give us updates and protocols on the Juvent as you learn things about it.
I have just invested in one.
When you say you lean over further to work your upper body, are your feet still on the Juvent or beside it on the floor?
Anthony, I think that question is best answered by you….
Hi Catherine; this is Anthony responding.

Can you please share the brand of barefoot shoe Fain? I think the Juvent is a long term investment in health and worth it.
I have 2 pairs of Barestep shoes-- https://barestep.com/

Nice post, Scott. Thanks, and thanks always for hauling that platform to the office twice a week.
