The hardest part of sharing our lives with these special beings we call "pets" is loving them so much that a part of our hearts leave with every passing. They bring so much joy into our lives and then leave us way too soon! I still dream about my horse Pepper I owned for several years, my first dog a poodle named Sweetie, my first Siberian, my first cat, and all the ones who followed. Blessings to them all and may we meet again!

Scott, I understand what you are going through with Sophie. You and Kerrie gave her the opportunity for a good life, when the time finally comes and she passes quietly in your company, you'll have share something special. I had to put down my dog Woodrow this summer, he had a special life story which my daughter captured in a short video:

I was so relieved at the results of the election. Trump this time has surrounded himself with good people, it makes me very hopeful that we can have bright future. I just today that Joel Salitin, a notable figure in regenerative agriculture, is going to part of his team. If we can somehow help the 30% of the country that still takes the MSM seriously, get over their TDS, things can be great.

I am so sorry that you and Sophie are in the final stretch together, but glad you are together in the final stretch.

I have wondered how it goes for you in Ithaca, with even the hint that injections could be causing harm. I was in Tompkins County for 32 years, many of those years working at Cornell. I can't think of a single friend from those days with whom I could now even broach such a topic.

I too found mark halperin’s non-hyperbolic 2way show quite good and very helpful (along with reading Ruy Texiera and Nate Silver’s Substack).. as a result, I was not as surprised (or fearful) in the results as my friends in our blue bubble. Also interesting to find Jay Bhattacharya’s Substack (and discussion with Peter Khorie (sp?) and now your Substack-thanks!
