Scott..I agree with most of your Post about Parasites... except from my most recent highly insightful experience. You mentioned you can send stool samples out for testing.. Ova and Parasite tests to a Lab. I was seen by 2 Different Infectious Disease Doctors and left multiple stool samples in their bottles of Formulin. All came back Negative. Later on I met an Old School Veterinarian who worked in a Major University Parasitology Lab following Vet School. He is Old School and skilled with the Microscope. When he called me last Fall after contacting him..I asked him if I should send my Stool Sample to him in one of the kits that I didn't use. What he told me next was shocking..He raised his voice very loud in my ear and shouted..NO..NO Do NOT put them in the Liquid Formulin ! I said Why Not? He said confidently...If there are any Parasite Eggs in the stool they will break apart and/or dissolve them and you will end up with a False Negative Test ! A week later he sent me my results and told me he found Giardia and Dyplidium Tapeworms in my Stool. Wow.. So the Labs that all you Docs use are causing you to miss a lot of Parasite Cases. He went on to tell me..That most of his clients that has Pets with Parasites..The Pet owners are infected too. A lot Food is imported as well. Another Doctor in the New York area found parasites in many of her patients. She emphatically stated that PCR Testing for Parasites are worthless. Live and Learn..
When I was training as an FNP, my favorite mentor for two rotations had been in practice for more than 40 years. Her father had been a microbiologist, and she had a contraband microscope in the back room which we routinely used to make wet mount slides to look for yeast in urine or swabbed vaginal samples from female patients with vaginal and UTI symptoms. Because we live and practice in New York State, the tyranny of the state regulatory environment made the presence of that microscope a risky proposition. It wasn’t supposed to be there without expensive lab certification. New York State dictates labs that I can order for patients and even myself. Somehow, the bureaucrats think that they know more than we do as clinicians. Bedside microscopic skills still have value, even if the system blocks us from using them. On the other hand, amateur hour with live blood analysis drives me crazy. I have patients, bringing me images from live blood analysis done by a hack with a laptop computer claiming that there are parasites on the screen, when someone with a basic understanding of microbiology would beg to differ.
Alternative medicine uses fear as well as western to sell products. When I was recovering from Lyme, 8 years and it was actually the Stephen Buhner protocol in the end that healed me, I learned what a real herxheimer was. Being kinda foggy; having some diarrhea; or feeling off isn't it. You feel like you are going to die. The huge push now is for everyone to think their insides are dirty and unmanageable. Who does that benefit? It's the same with any system follow the money. Eat healthy; exercise; pray; and get your minerals…..
Thanks for a clarifying article. I’ve done ivermectin/ fenbendazole once a year for a few years because I have animals and live in the country. They get treated too.
I did eliminate flukes the first time with fenben. I think the source was creek water, and I handle a lot of animals.
The things I see around the county: dogs cooped up in yards all day running around in their shit and eating the cardboard kibble diet. Dog parks as a source of hookworms. People camping and pooping near creeks and rivers. Farmworkers gotta do what they do where they are, far from the facilities’. I see little kids in nice city parks playing in pretty creeks, downstream from homeless camps in the hills nearby.
While I agree that parasitic infections may not be as much of a problem here in the U.S., we “invited” millions and millions of people across our southern border in the last few years. Those people were not screened and are living among us now. They came from all over the world including countries with a much higher incidence of parasitic infections in humans. In addition, they may be harvesting our crops. The chance of ending up with a parasitic infection is now a lot greater, imho. And, I have to say that I am saddened to see people call cancer a parasite. I agree with your assessment of the reason that anti parasitics work on cancer cells. Cancer may be a “parasite” but not a worm or bug form.
My understanding is that cancer is not parasites/bugs...it functions in the body similarly to parasites which is why strong anti parasite treatment works. My bets are not "modern" medicine.. Rockefeller pharma treatments. Their history and ideology is not good.
No, cancer is NOT a parasite, like this article is discussing, but I have seen some writings where it is called a parasite. I have been investigating for over a year now as my husband has stage 4 prostate cancer. It is unfortunate that some writers may be using the “Cancer is a Parasite” headline just to grab attention. Needless to say, I don’t even read the articles. I consider them a waste of my time, I guess. Clickbait. Imho, if the article has good information, you don’t need a clickbait title, just one to pique interest.
I trained in Fort Worth at John Peter Smith Hospital in family practice.
A "Dr. Buzzard" walked around the halls at night watching over all of the residents giving them advice. No one ever met him. But, he had 10 rules/pearls of advice.
Rule #1 Never trust a radiologist, meaning learn how to read your own x-rays.
Rule #2 Never trust a pathologist, meaning learn how to read your own slides under the microscope whether it be blood, sputum, vaginal samples etc....
Very hard to do both of those well, but you get the point.
At the very least, having some facility with both #1 and #2 enables a clinician to take a more critical view of the conclusions of the radiologist and pathologist.
I'm posting here an email which was sent to me by an Amy McAdam.
"You’re either simply lazy or a basic dumbass to write such a false communication.
I parasite cleanse once a quarter and pass copious amounts of worms and trematodes/flukes each time! I eat clean, well cooked, “first-world” food and still regularly purge all sorts of things with cleanses. The members of my cleanse group also report, with pictures, the same.
What is wrong with you? Why lie to the public?
Further, I sent in a stool sample (O&P) last summer with an actual worm in it that I had passed that morning, just to prove and report that those of you in the “Americans don’t have parasites” club are WRONG. Of course, the report came back “no parasites detected”. WITH A PARASITE IN THE VIAL. You’d have to be blind to miss it. It was 3.5 inches long.
I don’t understand the fixation with denying this reality, but it has been shown by me and now others that your work and substance is certifiably worthy of ignoring."
2 years after my honeymoon to Mexico my borderless hitchhiker exited through the trap door (if you know what I mean). Luckily I’m a nurse and was not afraid to grab that sample right out of my toilet and bring it to go get tested.
Of course the idiot Doctor at the time told me that I must’ve gotten it as a child from eating dirt. I literally was like “seriously so you’re telling me that I have a 34-year-old worm?” Meanwhile, if you look at the lifecycle (not for the faint of heart) the two year drop was appropriate …
Ascaris positive. I believe they gave me Mebendazole at the time.
I’d rather take a prophylactic parasitic cleanse any day of the week than have to go through that again!
I’m seeing little friends when I take ivermectin & I’m definitely having gassy herxheimer reaction when I take an herbal parasite cleanse. There are also great results with cancer using fenbendazole. I’m going to continue getting rid of the little critters
For articles I am researching, I have spoken with people who use Chlorine Dioxide orally as well as in enemas. I have seen photographs of a wide variety of what seemed to be worm like creatures. Thoughts about this, Scott?
Thanks for the question Mary Beth. I’m not asserting that nobody has parasites. Parasites are real; some people have them. Sometimes, some people who have parasites have symptoms and pathology from parasites. I think that this is where medicine, practiced well, diverges from crowd-sourcing and layperson guided treatment of symptoms. E.g. streptococcus can cause pathology, but in many people it coexists with other bacteria and causes no harm that we can feel or measure. Ditto parasites, which have co-evolved with humans since, well, humans have ermerged from the primordial soup. If I could see the worm-like objects up close and personal, then sometimes, in some people, they would be parasites. Chlorine Dioxide (CD) can certainly address a panapoly of pathogens, including parasites, although information shared within the CD study group points to some limitations, because A) <5% of CD makes it out of the stomach into the upper regions of the small intestine and B) most CD instilled via enema is inactivated when it comes into contact with organic matter (AKA poop). Hope that helps.

my god, who knew that 'contraband microscope' was even a thing! insane!
The tyranny of little despots knows no bounds.
