Wow, this writing has perfect timing as I am planning some painting in our home. Now I know why my conscience kept telling me not to be so eager on the project! Will be checking into these paints AND waiting til summer time!
The passage regarding what we are born with: 'enormous amount of reserve capacity' immediately brings to mind the Chinese medical concept of pre-natal and post-natal jing (essence). Pre-natal jing is a fixed level of reserve life force/essence; some people liken it to DNA. Post-natal essence is what we generate through food, liquids, exercise, and life-enhancing practices. In severe disease states, the post-natal isn't generated on the usual daily basis; the body then begins to 'mine' the pre-natal, which is a fixed amount and extremely difficult to renew. So many vaccine-injured people are using those reserves which may never be replaced.
Thank you for sharing this. Paint used to be quite toxic and it was a long time before ppl were actually painting the interior of their homes with it, and it is great that so many improvements have been made to paints.
We are moving into a brand new house in two months, the builder supervisor/boss said houses are build much tighter now. Builders make efforts to increase ventilation through out the house.
I love the eagle nest. Which nest is this? We are watching two eagle nests: Big Bear Valley eagle nest on youtube and also the one at NCTC in West Virginia. Both are excellent nests.
I would love to paint my new place.... but I have so much art work, paintings, and framed treasures. so, I think I will keep that on my back burner for now. Even our house at present is painted in fairly neutral colors.
My husband is color blind too. He has problems with greens and blues
AFM is great! I used a product of theirs for my kitchen cupboards (black) and love it. You can use it on the floor as it dries quite hard. We really don't need any continued outgassing for months after we paint. Lots more options now than 20 yrs ago.
my new house will be ready in two months. I am getting white cabinets (as in this house at present) and a medium grey island. the counters will be white
An enjoyable and informative read. So important. Thank you. And by the way, did you send out the last Q&A? I didn't see it in my inbox. If someone knows, please reply. Thanks.
I love your writing!
Thank you.
Thank you for this writing, I have used the AFM Safecoat products including the caulk and almighty adhesive. They had no smell and worked well.
There is a great website
www.mychemicalfreehouse.net. Corinne Segura writes about a wide variety of topics regarding creating a home free of chemicals and VOCs.

Thank you for this perspective. Mining or extraction are good metaphors to use.
good article and great color vision test charts. At 82 can still read each number.

I think the nest was near Montezuma bird sanctuary north of Ithaca in New York State.

Thank you so much. I bet some others would like to see it -- and a quick access point is desirable and helpful. Blessings.
It’s still for paid subscribers only.
